Corporate Shoots

I’ve had a number of recent commissions for corporate photography around the County, which I’m delighted to do, even if some of them are at only a day or two’s notice!

Our Own Wedding Fair

The next Wedding Fair hosted by our subsidiary, ‘Weddings-Cambridge’, will be on Sunday 6th April from 11am to 4pm at the Holiday Inn Cambridge, with 2 Bridal Fashion Shows by ‘Honeys Bridal & Events’. Parking and Entry is free, and registration will be handled by The Wedding Planner Magazine.

The radio advertising campaign starts 10 days before Fair date with 80 spots total during the days and weekend, up to and including Fair day.

There is also a listing in The Wedding Planner Magazine, with 40,000 copies sent to Brides, Department Stores, Supermarkets and other other relevant outlets.

I shall of course be exhibiting my own photography stand with some crazy ‘Show Only’ offers for wedding photography, plus a display of albums, acrylic and aluminium panels, and a rolling slideshow on my Mac computer of real weddings we’ve had the pleasure of shooting. Looking forward to seeing you there!

The Next Cambridge Photo Walk

The next Cambridge Photo Walk is on Saturday 15th February from 10am to 3pm.

Cambridge has a wonderful diversity of residents, tourists from all around the world and of course the transient student population. They all mingle and interact with each other, with the street performers and sit on walls and benches for a sandwich lunch. This is a great opportunity to capture some of these interactions and anticipate upcoming shots in an ever changing scene. There is usually only one chance for most of these types of photos before they’re gone forever.

  • Listen as I explain some of the history of the area, including some ghostly stories concerning a window that’s never closed, a bookshop and a rose. Discover and photograph a ‘Richardson Candle’; see and photograph the £1 million gold plated clock (and all the people photographing it!) and find out who gifted it to the university. I’ll describe what used to lay behind the 70s brutal architecture of Petty Cury and the Grand Arcade.
  • Learn the best camera settings and how to anticipate when shooting on the street.
  • Shoot the moment amongst the throngs!
