Ely

These photographs are from the first Ely Photo Walk that I have hosted. On the tour were self confessed 'Trekkies', Jim (Jim!), Scotty (Scott!), Uhura (Gemma) and a member of the 'Away Team' (Craig, so I was worried he wouldn't return!). Sadly not in uniform, but good fun as the day was bitterly cold and windy, but thankfully dry.

We started at Oliver Cromwell's house which also housed the Tourist Information office, but that didn't open for another 2 hours, so we pressed on!

The Market provided some great street shots with all the different stalls and even a 'Cup & Saucer' children's fun ride, run by Margaret.

We stopped at the famous 'Peacocks' tea rooms for lunch - a wonderful treat, with teas from all the world continents, cake and hot food all served by charming waitresses and the owners.

By the time we had walked to the river, a wedding was taking place at The Maltings, where of course, I couldn't resist a shot of the Bride and Groom in the doorway!

All my photographs taken using my Fuji X-T1 and 18-55mm lens.
