Ellen and Andy

Ellen and Andy had a Springtime Quaker influenced Ceremony, whereby people could contribute, at the beautiful Wandlebury Country Park in South Cambridge. It started with them walking 2 miles through the woods, and along the way they were joined by family and guests as they precessed through the ‘Avenue of Trees’ to the open-air Ceremony. Here, the Celebrant Jules, started proceedings with Ellen and Andy exchanging their promises and rings, followed by a number of guests who read their special words and poems, and James who sang a beautiful song accompanied by his acoustic guitar.

The Wedding meal was served in the Marquee, with speeches by Ellen’s Father, Andy, the Best Man, and a tribute by Ellen, followed by dancing.

This is the first wedding I’ve shot entirely using my new Fuji X-T1 camera and lenses, plus ironically, flash where required using my Canon flashgun - the rest of of Canon kit stayed in the bags! I’m pretty impressed with the quality this kit produces, and it’s also a fraction of the weight to carry around for 8-10 hours!  Just as importantly, or even more so, Ellen and Andy really loved the photographs too!
